March 24, 2020 Hubei province removes travel restrictions imposed two months ago in efforts to block the spread of the new coronavirus: the decision has been operational since midnight on Tuesday, as decided and communicated in a note by the Local Prevention Committee and control. The go-ahead will concern all residents who possess the 'green code', therefore without the risk of contagion. The capital Wuhan , the outbreak of the pandemic, will also see restrictions fall, but only from April 8.China sees new cases of coronavirus go back to 78, one of which in Wuhan after 5 days in a row at zero altitude and 74 imported from abroad. According to data updated on Monday by the National Health Commission, the new return infections, increasing to a total of 427, were 31 in Beijing, 14 in Guangdong, 9 in Shanghai, 5 in Fujian, 4 in Tianjin, 3 in Jiangsu, 2 both in Zhejiang and Sichuan, and 1 each for Shanxi, Liaoning, Shandong and Chongqing. The 7 new deaths were all registered in Wuhan, the outbreak of the pandemic.
South Korea had 76 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, up slightly from 64 on Sunday: according to updates from the Korea Centers for Disease Controland Prevention, total infections rose to 9,037, while deaths rose 9 units , at 120. The mortality rate is 1.33%. The cases of imported infection increased from 20 to 67 units, marking the biggest daily rise. Out of the total of 1,203 people, 90% South Koreans, who arrived in the country yesterday from Europe, 101 showed the symptoms of coronavirus.
