Counselor Issam Issa Al-Humaidan, Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai, confirmed that the Dubai Public Prosecution has already started to implement the system of remote investigation to continue the interests and rights of society without stopping to ensure the health and safety of everyone in line with the state's efforts to limit the spread of the Coruna virus.

The Attorney General stated that a package of decisions had been issued within the framework of the precautionary measures taken by the state, in coordination with its partners, taking into account the current situation, while ensuring the application of sound legal principles to complete justice for all parties.

The Public Prosecutor added that the public prosecution had taken years ago to take proactive steps by launching several strategic initiatives by transforming its legal procedures into smart remote operating as a smart arrest warrant and smart guarantee, which do not require the parties to the case to attend and meet in one place.

Al-Humaidan stressed that Dubai Prosecution has an effective technical infrastructure capable of meeting vital needs, pointing to an insightful vision of our wise leadership at that time to prepare for the digital future.
