According to the police report, it was a safety net that did not hold but the girl drove through, fell several meters down and was badly injured. She lay fainted for a few minutes and was then taken by ambulance helicopter to the Central Hospital in Karlstad. According to Ola Gripe, investigator for serious crimes by the police in Karlstad, the classification is because the ski resort has not ensured that the edge was protected.
"It's a negligence offense," he says.
"Tragic accident"
The CEO of the Branäs Group, Anders Källström, however, claims that it is a tragic accident. He believes that the safety net described in the police report in the self-report is a barrier.
- We follow the rules that are required, he says. Because of that, they have not changed anything around the area where the girl fell.
- It is a very tragic accident. Such an accident should not be possible.

Can you justify that?
- An accident can happen at a playground, but it is still a playground for it, says Anders Källström.
The prosecutor responsible for the case will look through it next week to see if it can proceed.
