“No alternative voting dates are currently being considered, there is no objective evidence for this,” TASS quoted him as saying.
According to him, the date of the vote should be formalized by decree of the head of state, Vladimir Putin. Peskov recalled that earlier Putin agreed with the option of holding a vote on April 22.
Peskov urged to wait for this presidential decree, emphasizing that so far there has been no discussion about postponing the vote.
He also said that the decree may appear "within a few days."
On February 27, a State Duma committee approved an amendment to vote on the Constitution on April 22.
