Rescuers were called Sunday morning around 10:30 am for a fire in a building located in the city center of Rennes, we learned from the firefighters. The fire broke out in an apartment located on the 8th floor of a residential building on rue du Papier Timbré, near boulevard de la Tour d'Auvergne.

When help arrived, the fire was already out. Inside the kitchen, they discovered the lifeless body of the occupant, a 70-year-old man. A police investigation was opened to determine the causes of the fire.
