According to reports, the incident occurred on a highway in Hengshiguang Town, Chiba Prefecture, when a car suddenly drove into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a tanker truck.
The report said that the impact caused severe damage to the car, and the 35-year-old car driver and her 2-year-old son died unfortunately.
According to the tanker driver, the scene of the incident was a slow curve. "At that time, (the car was hit) crashed out of the opposite lane (causing an accident)."
