According to Zelensky, “two weeks starting from 00:01 on March 16, foreign citizens will not be able to enter the territory of Ukraine.”

The exception is foreigners who have a residence permit in Ukraine, representatives of diplomatic missions and official delegations.

Earlier in Ukraine reported the first death from COVID-19. The deceased is a 71-year-old woman from the Zhytomyr region.

On March 13, the National Security and Defense Council announced that in 48 hours Ukraine would close the border for foreigners for two weeks.

Later, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Dmitry Razumkov clarified this decision.
