Earlier, the United States added to the sanctions list of Rosneft's daughter TNK Trading International.
The United States accuses Rosneft and its subsidiaries of supplying Venezuelan oil to foreign markets.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, commenting on this decision of Washington, said that the United States "imposed sanctions to put Maduro at the negotiating table."
