The Extremadura Regional Government has ordered the isolation of the Cáceres town of Arroyo de la Luz (5,861 people) and the Civil Guard has already begun to restrict the entrances and exits of the locality.
The measure, decided by the Ministry of Health, is taken for the detection of up to 16 cases of coronavirus and the death of a young woman of only 19 years.
All social activities are limited, including at home; Exits from the houses should be limited to essentials (shopping, health care ...) and traveling outside the locality should be avoided unless it is strictly necessary, as well as entry into the town, according to the Junta de Extremadura,
Among the cases, and according to information provided by the Extremadura Health Service on Thursday, there were five women and two men between 45 and 80 years old, related to this outbreak, who are in home isolation. All belong to the so-called in health terms 'contact circle' of the deceased in the town.

The woman was infected after making a trip to Seville on February 29 to see a show in El Circo del Sol. The deceased had worked in a local residence as a nursing assistant until the summer of 2018, when she was diagnosed with heart disease and had diabetes .
