New coronavirus first death in Austria March 12 21:51
Health authorities in the Austrian capital, Vienna, have announced on July 12 that a 69-year-old man living in Vienna infected with the new coronavirus has died. This is the first time a patient has died in Austria.
The deceased man had recently returned from Italy.
In Austria, Kurz has taken measures to suspend entry from Italy, bordering Italy on 10th of this month, and will be closed from elementary school to university in principle next week.
However, as of the 12th, 302 infected cases have been identified, and the spread of the infection has not been stopped.
