The federal republic fears that the circulation of citizens of France will accelerate the spread of the coronavirus. In Germany, more than 1,300 cases of coronavirus have so far been counted.

Nelly, a French professor teaching in Germany will therefore stay at home in Strasbourg. "We have received an email about this. I feel like I am in good health, I am not coughing, I am not cold. We feel a little excluded, put off like plague victims", she says .

"There are things that are not very logical"

The school where she works is located near Kehl, a German border town. Many Strasbourg residents also go there to do their shopping. And on Wednesday in the supermarket parking lot, there were as always only French license plates. "There are no roadblocks on the road. The French are welcome when it is to spend!" Laughs an Alsatian passing.

Another adds: "I'm not going to throw a stone at the Germans. In France or in Germany, there are things that are not very logical ..." Not very far from there, at the Europa Park amusement park , French employees were also asked to stay at home. But customers are always welcome.
