Former film producer Harvey Weinstein, convicted of rape and sexual assault, was sentenced Wednesday to 23 years in prison by a Manhattan judge, a very heavy sentence especially given his age (67 years). The sentence imposed by Judge James Burke is close to the maximum provided for, 29 years. The former Hollywood tycoon was convicted on February 24.
