This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian parliament.

“The leadership and representatives of the said faction were not authorized to negotiate on behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and their discussion of any issues during their trip was not coordinated,” the statement said.

It is noted that the deputies did not make business trips, their trip was "private", and they expressed the position of "exclusively their political strength."

It is also specified that the meetings were initiated by the Ukrainian party.

Earlier it was reported that the deputies of the Rada of Ukraine for the first time in six years attended a meeting of the State Duma as part of the creation of a working group of parliamentarians of countries participating in the Norman format.

On March 10, Putin met with Medvedchuk and State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin in the Kremlin on the creation of a parliamentary dimension of the Norman format.
