The Federation Council Committee recommended approval of the Constitutional Amendment Law

Earlier, the State Duma adopted the document in the third reading.

The bill was submitted to the State Duma by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The theses formulated by the head of state in a message to the Federal Assembly formed the basis.

If the law is approved by the Federation Council at a meeting on Wednesday, March 11, it will be sent to the legislative assemblies of the subjects.
