Paris SG coach Thomas Tuchel has chosen to leave his star striker Kylian Mbappé, insufficiently recovered from angina, on the bench for the 8th final of C1's return against Dortmund which Leandro Paredes will kick off on Wednesday ( 9:00 p.m.) behind closed doors.

The tenure of "Kyky" has been an issue since the young, ill-center man missed the workouts on Monday and Tuesday.

His presence as a replacement constitutes a lesser evil for the German technician who relies heavily on Mbappé, the Parisian most fit since the defeat in the first leg (2-1), to overthrow the Borussia.

In attack, it is the Spaniard Pablo Sarabia who will therefore accompany Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan, long behind Mauro Icardi in the scoring hierarchy, will start a C1 match for the first time this season.

"Fantastic Four", only Neymar and Angel di Maria will begin.

Thiago Silva's package forced Tuchel to line up Marquinhos in central defense. The Argentinian Leandro Paredes thus inherits the place of midfielder usually devolved to the Brazilian, alongside Idrissa Gueye.

"Leo", absent from the group in Germany, will have the heavy task of making people forget Marco Verratti, suspended.

Finally, Juan Bernat was preferred to Layvin Kurzawa as left back, although the Frenchman has been playing the most in recent weeks. The Spaniard, touched in a calf, only held four times in 2020.

The eagerly awaited meeting will be played behind closed doors at the Parc des Princes, to avoid the spread of the new coronavirus. Club ultras have planned to meet outside the stadium to hear players during the match.

Composition of the teams:

Paris SG: Navas - Kehrer, Marquinhos (cap), Kimpembe, Bernat - Di Maria, Gueye, Paredes, Neymar - Sarabia, Cavani

Dortmund: Bürki - Piszczek (cap), Hummels, Zagadou - Hakimi, Witsel, Can, Guerreiro - Sancho, Haaland, T. Hazard
