UN Secretary-General Guterres told a press conference in response to the World Weather Organization's report that global warming is still advancing, saying, "There is no time to prevent catastrophe. And called on the world to act immediately.

In this report, the WMO published a report entitled "The Current State of the Earth's Climate" .The average global temperature increased 1.1 degrees by 2019 compared to before the world was industrialized, and will continue to increase every ten years. In addition to predicting that the temperature will continue to rise by 0.3 degrees, the atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration, sea surface temperature, and water level will all continue to rise.

In this regard, Secretary-General Guterres called on the world to take immediate action, stating, "There is no time to stop the catastrophic catastrophe. It will be a decisive year to transform the global warming crisis."

"We know that car emissions are affecting the environment," said WMO Secretary-General Thales, pointing out that air pollution was improving in Wuhan, China, where the new coronavirus infection first spread. He emphasized that measures against global warming depend on human economic activities.
