A huge fright. A 74-year-old driver had to be rescued by the Var firefighters on Monday after having had an accident at the Grand Var shopping center, in the town of La Garde, learns 20 minutes from the firefighters. The driver would have “lost the pedals”, she “lost control of her vehicle, or got mixed up in the controls”. The fact remains that she came into the shop window, before finding herself stuck in the escalator opposite the entrance.
“This escalator led to the lower level of the shopping center, we managed to get it out of the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver is only slightly injured, but she is shocked, ”said the Var firefighters. In total, 10 firefighters intervened to get her out of this bad situation.
