China News Service, March 9th. According to the official Weibo news from the Shanghai Health and Medical Commission, on March 8th from 12 to 24th, 10 suspected cases of new coronavirus pneumonia were ruled out in Shanghai; there were no new confirmed cases.

As of 24:00 on March 8, Shanghai had eliminated a total of 2,531 suspected cases and found 342 confirmed cases. Of the confirmed cases, there were 180 males and 162 females; the oldest was 88 years old and the youngest was 7 months old; 145 had a history of living or traveling in Hubei, 34 had a history of living or traveling outside Hubei, and 159 had a history of contact with related cases. Four cases had a history of Iranian residence; 111 cases came to Shanghai from abroad, 4 cases came from abroad, and 227 cases were residents of the city. The specific situation is as follows.

Of the confirmed cases, there are currently 25 cases being treated in the hospital, of which 16 cases are in stable condition, 8 cases are in critical condition, and 1 case is critically ill; 314 patients were cured and discharged; 3 died. There are still 30 suspected cases under investigation.
