Nada Surf, a legendary rock group, will play two "identical" concerts on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at La Cigale in Paris, in order to "avoid cancellation or postponement" linked to the new coronavirus, the production company said on Monday A.k.a.
Since Sunday evening, "gatherings of more than 1,000 people" have been banned in France due to the growing spread of the new coronavirus. However, the Cicada has a capacity of 1,400 places in the standing room configuration (and 950 in the seated version).
For Nada Surf, the doors will open for the 7:00 p.m. concert "will be at 6:00 p.m. and at 8:45 p.m. for the 9:15 p.m. concert," says Alias on Twitter, asking "people who can arrive early to show up for the first concert in order to 'ensure access for everyone to the two shows ".
Nada Surf had burst the screen thanks to the title "Popular", the group's first success in 1996. The trio released in February a very successful ninth album, "Never not together".
