The military exercise "Immune Guard 2020" will be launched in Qatar today, Sunday, amid participation from several Arab, regional and international countries.

The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced the arrival of all delegations of the countries participating in the exercise to the capital, Doha, and said - in a statement - that the exercise will start on Sunday with the participation of forces from several Arab and foreign countries, and will continue until March 27 this year.

She added that the exercise will be attended by Qatar: the Joint Special Forces, the Ministry of Interior, the Lekhwiya Internal Security Force, and the Emiri Guard.

It also includes military forces from Jordan, Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, Oman, the United States, France, Rwanda, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

The Ministry stated that the majority of the "immunized goalkeeper 2020" training will take place in the interior regions throughout the country, including the World Cup Stadium, Hamad International Airport and Qatar Railways (Rail).

She added that the exercise comes within the framework of strengthening military and security relations between the participating countries, as well as developing the capabilities of their forces and strengthening cooperation and joint coordination between them.

It is noteworthy that the "guardian immunity" exercise is conducted annually, and it consists of scenarios and training that contribute to preparing and training the participating forces to respond to any cross-border security threat.
