Trump campaign team sues CNN in 10 days vs. 3 media
U.S. President Donald Trump's campaign team sued CNN on the 6th on the grounds that an article published by CNN had defamated Trump.

CNN is the third major U.S. media to sue the Trump team in the last 10 days after the New York Times and the Washington Post.
On June 13, 2019, CNN contributor and former Federal Election Commission General Counsel Larry Noble published an opinion article on CNN entitled "Gathering Scandals from Foreign Governments is a Crime Miller Should Do Allegations Trump Campaigned for Team Member.
Citing a report released by former special prosecutor Robert Miller on Russia's "intervention" in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Noble wrote: "The Trump campaign has assessed the potential risks and benefits of seeking Russian help again in 2020, Decided to keep this option. "
Russia has firmly denied interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election to help Trump be elected.
The Trump team said that Trump has “publicly denied many times that there were any attempts to seek Russian involvement in the 2020 presidential election”, and that CNN published “Nobly” an article that was “very clear” that the content was untrue.
The Trump team said this reflects CNN's "systematic bias" against the Trump team.
CNN did not immediately respond. A source told Reuters that CNN has not studied the content of the lawsuit brought by Trump.
Trump has accused some US media of being biased against him since he took office, and CNN's reports are often labeled as "fake news".
The Trump team sued the New York Times and the Washington Post in late February and early March, and also targeted the opinion articles published by these two media in 2019, alleging that the article implied that the Trump team had an improper relationship with Russia. Improper intentions affect the 2020 presidential election. The Trump team has claimed millions of dollars from two newspapers for defamation.
