The officials indicated that «the wife of the German tourist who died earlier yesterday, left for her country immediately after learning about his illness», according to Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.

The officials confirmed that all precautionary measures were taken after the death of the first infected with the "Corona" virus emerging "Covid 19" in Hurghada General Hospital, noting that the hospital had been sterilized and disinfected, and contacted with the German embassy.

Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the death of the first case of a German citizen, with the new Coronavirus (Covid-19).

The consultant for the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesman of the ministry, Khaled Mujahid, said that the German citizen, at the age of 60 years, had symptoms of sickness represented by a rise in temperature when he arrived from Luxor to Hurghada.
