Four new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in Russia over the past day, said the operational headquarters to combat the spread of the disease.

“Three patients in Lipetsk, two of them without pronounced symptoms, one patient in St. Petersburg. According to the epidemiological investigation, all citizens have visited the Italian Republic in the past two weeks, ”the headquarters said.

All patients are hospitalized and are in infectious boxes. It is noted that the circle of persons in contact with patients has already been determined, they are planned to be placed under medical supervision.

The government of the Lipetsk region indicated that "the condition of patients is closer to satisfactory."

According to Rospotrebnadzor, taking into account new information in the Russian Federation, 14 cases of coronavirus infection were registered.

“Of these, two are from Chinese citizens, 11 from Russian citizens who have returned from Italy, one from an Italian citizen. In addition, three Russian citizens evacuated from Japan from the Diamond Princess liner remain under medical supervision, ”the department said.

A day earlier, six new cases of COVID-2019 infection were recorded in Russia. Five of them are in Moscow, one in Nizhny Novgorod. All patients also returned from trips to Italy.

In the operational headquarters, it was reported that in four patients the disease is mild, one is in a state of moderate severity. The government of the Nizhny Novgorod region indicated that the only patient in the region was in satisfactory condition.

“She receives all the necessary treatment, tests show a decrease in viral load,” the regional governor’s press service said.

The first sick person was discharged in Moscow

On the afternoon of March 7, it became known that the first Russian patient who was diagnosed with coronavirus was discharged from the infectious diseases hospital in Moscow.

The report of the operational headquarters indicates that the repeated tests performed by the man showed a negative result, the patient is in good condition. It is noted that his treatment was carried out in accordance with the temporary methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation "Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of new coronavirus infection."

“Currently, the patient is healthy, he has no symptoms of a viral disease,” explained Svetlana Smetanina, chief freelance specialist for infectious diseases at the Moscow Department of Health.

The patient himself (his name is David Berov) after discharge also confirmed good health.

“I feel great. I was not worried, my symptoms were normal: just a cold, cough. He came from Italy and just because of vigilance with friends we went and checked, and that’s all, ”Berov said, noting that he has all the documents about the absence of coronavirus.

Earlier in Moscow, a high alert regime began to operate in connection with the spread of coronavirus. According to the order of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, arriving from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation must for 14 days refuse to attend work, study and public places.

In addition, the concept of a pre-fabricated medical center is being worked out in the capital as part of a plan to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This was stated by Deputy Mayor of Moscow on urban development policy and construction Andrei Bochkarev.

According to him, the project of the infectious center should include boxes for patients, a checkpoint, as well as rooms for disinfection, rooms for staff and a parking lot. To implement the project, it is planned to form a special headquarters.
