From our correspondent in Madrid,

A pyramidal and centralized organization is what will become of the hard right populist movement Vox, a marginal movement two years ago on the national scene and which now has 52 deputies in the lower house, it is the third strength of the country .

Recently, disagreements have emerged from the regional office in Andalusia. Santiago Abascal reacted authoritatively. From now on, he and the management committee will be able to dismiss any critical manager as they see fit.

During a meeting to be held behind closed doors, the leaders of Vox also prohibited any candidacy for the exercise of internal power. The modification of the statutes gives almost limitless authority to Santiago Abascal and his lieutenants.

Santiago Abascal will be the chef for the next four years. A leader who will have even more power, therefore, but also money, since the party's budget has been multiplied by eight since 2018.
