Schools are not closed for medical reasons: "A great spread of rumors is going on"

In Djursholm, school premises are empty during Friday when schools in the municipality have chosen to close their activities for students.

One of the schools is Danderyds gymnasium, the only municipal school in the Stockholm region that keeps closed during the day. According to the school's headmaster, Fredrik Nordlander, it is not for medical reasons.

Outside the school school, we meet some students and a teacher who come to the school without knowledge that the school has chosen to shut down. One of them is the student Erik Olinder.

- I'm not particularly worried about the virus yet, but it may grow, become bigger and more dangerous, he says.

The Viktor Rydberg Schools at Djursholm Foundation have also decided to close their high school and high school. Amanda Hurst, principal at the school.

"We learned yesterday that we have the majority of students who have relatives who are confirmed to be infected with the corona virus," says the school's principal, Amanda Hurst.
