On March 5, Hossein Sheikholeslam, an adviser to the Iranian parliament's international affairs, died at the Danishwari Hospital in Tehran due to a new crown pneumonia infection. Sheikh Islam was a senior adviser to Iran's Foreign Minister Zarif and previously served as Iran's ambassador to Syria. According to the Iranian Ministry of Health, as of the morning of the 5th, 591 new cases of new coronary pneumonia were confirmed in Iran, with a total of 3,513 confirmed cases.
