After three days of hearing, he was sentenced on Thursday to ten years in prison. A 22-year-old young man was tried by the Loire-Atlantique assize court for rape committed against a 13-year-old girl at the time of the crime, reports the Ouest-France newspaper. The victim had just run away from his home in Saint-Nazaire when she crossed paths with the accused, already known to the justice system for crimes of delinquency, with whom she had started to get to know.
A few days later, the young man, six years older, had forced him to have sex, in a tent where he lived, on land in Saint-Herblain. The attacker had two knives in his possession, with which he had threatened the girl, adds l'Echo de la Presqu'île . The latter then took refuge with a local resident, who warned the police.
