Prosecutor's office demands life sentences for accused of Karlov’s murder

As noted, for five of the 28 accused, she demands acquittal.

Karlov was shot dead on December 19, 2016 at the opening of a photo exhibition in Ankara. According to Turkish authorities, the police officer Mevlut Merth Altıntash attacked and was liquidated by security forces.
