Recently, the National Climate Center of the China Meteorological Administration and the China Environmental Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment jointly conducted a forecast meeting on the meteorological conditions for the spread of atmospheric pollution in March 2020. The main prediction conclusions are as follows:

It is expected that in March 2020, the temperature will be high in most parts of the country. Except for the temperature in most parts of Tibet and the southwest of Southwest China, which is lower than the same period of the year, the temperature in most other regions is close to the same period of the year to high; Precipitation in the west, Jianghuai, Jianghan, most of southern Jiangnan, western South China, eastern southwestern China, most of northwestern China, and most of Tibet is higher than that of the same period of the year, and the rest of the country is close to the same period of the year. The temperature in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas is 1 ~ 2 ℃ higher than the same period of the normal year, and the precipitation is 0 ~ 10% lower than the same period of the year. In most areas of the Fenwei Plain, the temperature is 1 to 2 ° C higher than the same period of the year, and the precipitation is 10 to 20% higher than the same period of the year.

It is estimated that in March 2020, the atmospheric circulation in the middle and high latitudes of Europe and Asia will be dominated by zonal direction, and the cold air force will be weak, and the overall conditions for the spread of atmospheric pollution in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Fenwei plain areas will be biased. Among them, the cold air activity is strong in the early and late stages, and the air pollution spreads well; the cold air activity is weak in the middle, mid, and late stages, and the overall diffusion conditions are poor. Compared with the past two years, the conditions for the spread of pollutants in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Fenwei plains are close to those in March 2018, and the deviation from March 2019.
