“More than 100 people participate in the training, which began at 15:00 (7:00 Moscow time) at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport,” RIA Novosti reports.
The exercises are attended by specialists from the regional Ministry of Health, Rospotrebnadzor, medical volunteers, employees of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport and emergency personnel from the region.
It is noted that, on behalf of the Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, such exercises will be held regularly until the threat of penetration and spread of the coronavirus completely disappears.
According to legend, experts examine passengers who arrived in Sakhalin with signs of COVID-19 infection, give them first aid and, if necessary, put them in quarantine.
As specified, this will help to determine the degree of preparation of the airport premises for such situations.
