The Ministry of Education directed all governmental and private higher education institutions to commit to not having any students on campus for a period of four weeks, starting from the eighth of this March to the fourth of next April.

The Ministry called on higher education institutions to reprogram its academic evaluation of lectures, exams and licenses for students and the academic and administrative bodies, in line with the decision to suspend the attendance of students, and to ensure that academic accreditation standards are achieved in terms of the number of study weeks required in the academic semester, in addition to the number of study hours required for each course .

The Ministry stressed the necessity of continuing the work of higher education institutions during the period of suspension of students' attendance with the presentation of their study programs through means of distance learning.
