“The government proceeded from the fact that now an unhealthy situation has arisen due to the fact that pharmacies are buying up medical products by speculators, including masks, which are then exported abroad,” TASS quoted the minister as saying.

He called the decision timely and emphasized that there were no restrictions on domestic sales.

Earlier, until June 1, the Cabinet of Ministers banned the export of a number of medical devices, including masks, from the country.

The measures do not concern humanitarian aid, as well as the export of disposable goods by citizens for personal use.
