The latest statistics are from January 2020. It shows that 73 percent of patients in Sörmland received a visit to the specialist health care on time. But the waiting times for the different types of care are different.

Many have to wait

In cancer and skin care, all patients in the county received a visit in time during the period. But in allergy care, the proportion was significantly lower. There, 74 percent had to wait longer than three months.

Even within eye care and general psychiatry, waiting times were longer, where about half had to wait longer than three months for a first visit.

Urology: 89 percent (82 percent)

Eye Care: 49 percent (69 percent)

Ear Nose and Throat Care: 59 percent (79 percent)
