Russian artist Piotr Pavlenski, already prosecuted in the case of the intimate videos of Benjamin Griveaux, was indicted on Tuesday for "aggravated violence" during a brawl on New Year's Eve and released under judicial control, announced his lawyer.
"Piotr Pavlenski was indicted for aggravated violence, the investigating magistrate decided to place Piotr Pavlenski under judicial control by not following the requisitions of the public prosecutor, who asked for detention," said Yassine Bouzrou at the from the hearing of his client at the Courthouse. Mr. Pavlenski denounced the obligation of psychiatric care, "oppression", requested in the context of this judicial review.
