China News Service, March 3. According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the British Meteorological Agency data show that February 2020 is the wettest February in the United Kingdom since records in 1862, with an average rainfall of 209.1 mm.

According to reports, in February, storms Ciara, Dennis and Storg Jorge struck successively, bringing heavy rainfall to parts of the United Kingdom.

According to the British Meteorological Agency, the average rainfall in February was 209.1 mm, which was 237% higher than the average monthly rainfall from 1981 to 2010.

In a set of data from 1891, the storm "Dennis" also created the second highest daily rainfall total in Britain.
