In addition to serious rape against children, the man is also convicted of gross sexual abuse of children and child pornography crimes. The man will also pay compensation of SEK 200,000 to the victim, a girl who has not yet turned ten.
The sexual assaults have happened on three occasions in recent years.
In the case of child pornography offenses, the man has, according to the judgment, contained 468 child pornographic images and 301 of these showed gross abuse.
The district court writes in its judgment, among other things, that "the plaintiff's information is considered very credible" and "no other sanction than imprisonment is not relevant".
