The heavy rains that fell on Loire-Atlantique on Sunday swelled the rivers. A lot of floods still disrupt traffic on Monday. This is particularly the case for the northern ring road of Nantes. The Gesvres overflowed Sunday evening on the roadway, at the Porte de Gesvres, as it happens a few times a year.
The recession is slow and the ring road was still cut in both directions this Monday morning between the Porte de la Beaujoire and the Porte de la Chapelle. Diversions are put in place but traffic is greatly slowed northeast of Nantes. New precipitation is expected during the day.
