The singer Madonna was forced to cancel a concert scheduled for Sunday evening in Paris due to injury, announced the hall where she was to perform.
"We regret to inform you that the Madonna show" is "canceled, due to permanent injuries," writes the Grand Rex on its site.
The room does not say if the American singer of 61 years will be able to play the next evenings. In Paris since February 22 as part of its "Madame X Tour", it must occur until March 11.
According to Le Parisien, Madonna, who would suffer from a torn ligament in one knee, showed big signs of weakness during her Parisian concert on Thursday evening before bursting into tears.
"I am in so much pain (...) But I don't want your pity. I was the one who wanted to do this tour and I will finish it no matter what," then launched the singer to her fans, always according to the newspaper.
The "Madame X Tour", started in New York in September, passed through Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Lisbon and London. Paris is the last city.
