A 70-year-old man died of Corona 19 in Hokkaido, Japan, NHK and the Kyodo news agency reported.
The man, a resident of Kushiro, Hokkaido, was admitted to a local hospital to treat hepatitis from January 17, and was positive on a Corona 19 test last month, showing pneumonia.
The man died yesterday (28th) after being transferred to a Corona19-designated medical institution.
The number of people killed in Corona 19 in Japan has risen to 12, including six passengers on the cruise ship Diamond Princess.
As of today's 10:30 am, the number of people infected with Corona19 in Japan increased to 947, including cruise ship passengers, seven per day.
