Farid El-Deeb, lawyer for the family of the late former President Hosni Mubarak, revealed a surprise about the money of the former president, explaining in a statement to Al-Watan newspaper that the decision of the graft apparatus to seize Mubarak's funds is still valid, and the decision to reserve Mubarak's money and properties means that it cannot be disposed of.

Al-Deeb added that the decision was taken on February 28, 2011 according to the investigations carried out by the graft in a communication submitted to him at the time, and the investigations have not been disposed of until now.

On the wealth of former President Hosni Mubarak, al-Deeb described the rumors about the size of wealth and property over the past days as incorrect and "empty talk."

"I knew a lot from Mubarak," Farid al-Deeb said in comments after the death of Hosni Mubarak. "I will say everything at the time."

Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak died last Tuesday at the age of 92, and an official military funeral was held for him, on Wednesday, in the presence of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Hosni Mubarak stepped down from the ruling in February 2011, against the backdrop of popular protests against his three-decade rule.

Alaa Mubarak, son of the late president, posted on his account on Twitter last Friday a video of his father’s voice as a testament for the Egyptians, where Mubarak said in the audio recording, “Perhaps my talk to you today is the last thing I speak to my countrymen before life ends and the time comes, And hidden in the pure soil of Egypt ».

He added, “As life is drawing to a close, Ahmed Allah Murtah Al-Dameer considers that his case is a defender of Egypt, its interests and its people, war and peace.”

According to the video, Hosni Mubarak called on the Egyptians to "preserve the unity of the nation" and "circumvent his leadership."

In the audio recording, the former Egyptian president considered that Egypt is "a trust in the necks of the Egyptian people" "Keep it, observe its era, carry its flag, and take it forward."
