“On February 29, the Ministry of Public Health registered the country's first confirmed case of coronavirus COVID-19,” the agency said.
It is noted that the infected is a 36-year-old Qatar citizen who recently returned from Iran by plane.
He, along with other aircraft passengers, was placed in full quarantine.
Earlier, a passenger suspected of COVID-19 was identified on the Moscow-Beijing liner.
