Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr won Hinterstoder's super-G on Saturday, which led Frenchman Alexis Pinturault, 4th, to revive the general classification of the Alpine Skiing World Cup.

Kriechmayr signed his sixth victory on the world circuit at the age of 28 with a time of 1 min 33 sec 08/100.

The 2019 vice-world champion in the specialty beat Switzerland's Mauro Caviezel, 2nd at 5 / 100th, and the Austrian Matthias Mayer, 3rd at 8 / 100th, while Pinturault finished at the foot of the podium, at 24 / 100th of the winner of the day.

But "Pintu" did the right thing of the day, because his big rival for the world of world N.1, the Norwegian Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, however specialist in speed tests, did not score any points.

Starting with the number 7 bib, the leader of the general classification of the World Cup, largely in the lead in the first intermediate lap, went to fault at the halfway point.

His compatriot Henrik Kristoffersen, third and last contender for the crystal globe, was 21st after passing 31 competitors for his first participation in a World Cup super-G.

Kilde remains in the lead with 1022 points, but sees Pinturault return to 74 points (948 pts). The French N.1 can still score precious points in the two events on the program at Hinterstoder, a combined Sunday and a giant slalom on Monday.
