February 29, 2020 Napoli dismisses Turin with a 2-1 larger than the score in the evening of the twenty-sixth day and settles in sixth place (net of the matches to be recovered by the direct opponents). Third victory in a row for the Neapolitans (with a goal by two defenders) which counteracts the sixth defeat in a row of the grenades: the change of management from Mazzarri to Longo has had no effect and the relegation zone could get closer.

Gattuso deploys the unprecedented Politano-Milik-Insigne trident, Lobotka is the pivot of the midfield. Longo with 3-5-2, the points are Zaza and Belotti, the outsides De Silvestri and Ansaldi. An uncertain exit from Ospina favors De Silvestri who, however, fails to take advantage. This initial flash is the only 'disturbance' of the grenades in the Neapolitan area. Napoli takes possession of the game and makes the ball turn with patience. At 19 'Insigne makes a cross on a free kick, Manolas stands on Bremer and bags. Downhill game for the hosts, the grenade does not shake. Insigne does not take advantage of a mistake in Ansaldi's backpass, then engages Sirigu with a nice gesture in acrobatics on Milik's service. Insigne returns the favor to the Pole, who however weakly favors favoring the deviation of Sirigu.

Timid grenade attempts early in the second half, but Napoli remains in control. Insigne catches Milik on the run, Nkoulou tackles for a corner. Percussion with slalom of Lobotka, contrasts him to the limit of the small area even Belotti. The action of the Neapolitans is pounding, Di Lorenzo manages to find the corridor open to the right and flies towards Sirigu who wins the duel. Turin staggers but remains alive, Napoli is played in the last quarter of an hour with Mertens (Milik exits). Another chance for Politano, served by a long ball: Sirigu miscalculates the exit and can only 'push' the wing towards the wing, the lob ends up on the outside of the net. At 82 'the word comes to an end on the game: Mertens brushes a cross on the far post where Di Lorenzo enters with the right times and mocks Sirigu. The peaceful ending is just shaken by Edera's goal, free to head on Ansaldi's cross. Episode that triggers Gattuso's outburst with his, but does not affect the outcome of the race.
