China News Service, February 29th. According to the website of the Jilin Provincial Health and Health Commission, there were no new confirmed cases in Jilin Province at 04:00 on February 28th. Five patients were cured and discharged (2 in Changchun, 2 in Liaoyuan, and 1 in Tonghua).
As of 24:00 on February 28, the province had reported a total of 93 confirmed cases, and a total of 73 patients were discharged from the hospital (37 in Changchun, 11 in Siping, 5 in Jilin, 5 in Yanbian, 5 in Gongzhuling, and Liaoyuan). There were 4 cases, 3 in Tonghua City, 2 in Songyuan City, 1 in Meihekou City, and 1 death in Siping City.
There are 19 confirmed cases in hospital isolation and treatment. There were 8 cases in Changchun City, 3 cases in Liaoyuan City, 3 cases in Tonghua City, 3 cases in Siping City, 1 case in Baicheng City, and 1 case in Gongzhuling City.
Of the confirmed cases treated in the hospital, 15 were ordinary cases, 1 was a severe case (Changchun), and 3 were critical cases (1 in Changchun, 1 in Baicheng, and 1 in Tonghua). There were 3,994 close contacts of the above confirmed cases, 3,786 medical observations have been lifted, and 208 medical observations are being quarantined at designated places or at home. A total of 15 cases were confirmed by active nucleic acid testing and screening among close contacts.
At 02:00 on February 28th, out of the original 5 suspected cases in the province, 2 were excluded; 3 new suspected cases were added; 6 existing suspected cases were all isolated and treated, and the diagnosis is currently being further confirmed.
