More than 200 South Koreans who arrived at Hanoi's Hanoi airport on Tuesday were reported to have been forced to contain them for two days.

According to the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, 130-140 Koreans who arrived at Hanoi airport the day before are sequestered in military medical facilities and hospitals outside Hanoi, and 71 in Hanoi.

About 200 people who arrived on the same day have already returned home, and some of them at the airport hope to return home as soon as possible.

The Korean Embassy is aware of the situation in other regions, such as Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

In response, the Ho Chi Minh Korean Association said 19 of the 200 Koreans who arrived at Ho Chi Minh Airport the night before returned home in fear of containment, while others were quarantined at local health centers and left for destination.

A (21, female), who arrived at Hanoi Airport on February 28 at 2:25 pm (local time), said, "As soon as I arrived at the airport, my passport was confiscated and not yet returned." Seventy people are segregated in separate spaces at the airport. ”

B (42), who arrived in Hanoi on November 28 at 11 am and was still at the airport, said, “They were vomiting because they couldn't endure hard situations.”

Emergency response teams, including Ambassador Park No-wan of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, are visiting the Hanoi airport and containment facilities one after another and requesting the release of facilities for Koreans as soon as possible.

Vietnamese authorities suspended temporary permits for non-Japanese citizens to enter South Korea on Monday.

In addition, the Asiana Airlines airliner, which had departed with 40 passengers from Incheon, took place at 10:10 am on that day.

However, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines are planning to return to Incheon late at night after sending a passenger plane from Incheon to Hanoi this afternoon without passengers.
