This year, the locations for the gymnasium camp in Hällevik ran out of record time. It took exactly one minute and eleven seconds, then the other applicants were queued.

- We are excited about the interest but think it is very sad that so many are queued, says sports consultant Emma Ahlstrand.

We have reported on the great interest in participating in Hällevik camp earlier. In 2016, it took an hour for the sites to be fully booked, which resulted in the website crashing.

"Trying to find a solution"

In total there are 300 places in the camp. In addition, 220 seats are reserved for former participants who wish to participate again. The remaining 80 seats are for new participants who had to set the clock and book a seat in less than a minute.

- We have always had a high pressure, but never this fast. We discuss back and forth how to bring in more interested people but so far we have no solution, says Emma Ahlstrand.

Must find 100 coaches

In addition to the sites, the camp faces more challenges. For the 300 students it is also necessary to find 100 leaders. But Emma Ahlstrand also explains that they always have several dropouts and that those who have not got the place may have patience and wait.

"We get a lot of talk about disappointed students and parents, but those are the 300 places we have to offer," she says.
