Korean passengers arrived in Vietnam yesterday afternoon in a secluded area at Hanoi Airport.

After being trapped at the airport, the exhausting signs of the day are all relentless.

Vietnamese authorities have announced a policy of forced containment only for residents of Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and from yesterday they began to contain Koreans from other regions.

More than 200 Korean passengers were reportedly contained in military units and airports.

Vietnamese authorities have also temporarily banned Koreans from entering Vietnam.

This is the first time in 16 years since July 2004, when South Koreans were allowed to enter Korea without a full visa.

Vietnamese officials said there were 16 corona19 confirmed people in Vietnam, but all have been cured and have not been infected for more than two weeks.

Increasingly, countries such as Vietnam restrict Koreans from entering Korea.

Thirty-four countries or regions are prohibited from entering the country, and thirty-eight are restricted to entry due to quarantine enforcement or containment.

Japan has designated Korea as a 'tourism' region, as well as Daegu and Gyeongbuk, Qingdao, and Germany has made it possible to report health status upon arrival to Korea.
