The Dubai Public Prosecution referred to the criminal court a cleaner and sales representative (Asians) kidnapped an Asian worker after they posed as two police officers, then accused him of being a security wanted, and stole 5,000 dirhams from him on the road and mobile phones, and released him after touring him some time by car.

The victim said in the Public Prosecution investigations that he was standing on one of the roads in the Freej al-Murar area, browsing his phone when the two defendants came to him, one of them was wearing Emirati national dress, and the other was wearing normal clothes, but he hung in his neck the police emblem.

He added that they showed him the card, and they spoke to him first in Arabic, and told him that he was accused of selling phone credits without a permit, so he denied this, but they asked him to get onto the vehicle, and one of them sat next to him, and took out a device that he claimed was to reveal the fingerprints he asked him to put his fingerprint on, then He told him that he is wanted on charges of escaping from the sponsor, and he will be subject to a fine of 50 thousand dirhams, imprisonment for six months, and handcuffing him with a plastic restriction.

He added that the defendants searched him, and took from him the amount of 5000 dirhams he was carrying with him, as well as taking his phones from him, then they drove him until they reached a dark place, behind the Hamriyah Garden for Women, where they released him.

He added that one of the women saw him and asked him why he was near the park, and he told her what happened with him, adding that she took the initiative to inform the police, and when summoned to the center, and showed pictures of the accused, he got acquainted with the two persons who kidnapped him, and later arrested them.
