The Public Health Authority has previously requested the passenger lists in order to be able to contact everyone who was on the train in question. At the time of writing, it is unclear how many of the passengers the authority has reached. The decision not to let the staff who were on board continue to work right now has been made by SJ themselves.

- Quarantine is not a word we use ourselves. But there are two train hosts who have been taken out of service as a safety measure, says Tobbe Lundell, SJ's press chief.

He adds that SJ has taken more measures for all its staff than recommended by the Public Health Authority.

- For example, we already made a decision yesterday that all employees who have been rested on their own and come from the areas designated by the authorities should stay at home for two weeks. They may work from home as much as possible or devote themselves to education, says Tobbe Lundell.

It was on February 25 that the infected man flew from Milan to Stockholm Arlanda. The next day he traveled by train to Gothenburg. Already then he must have had symptoms and thus been able to infect others. But it was only in Gothenburg that he sought medical treatment and was tested. The result confirmed the doctors' concerns, and the man was admitted to the infection clinic for treatment.

Then they have tried to map out who he may have come in contact with since he came to Sweden.
