February 28, 2020 In the afternoon, a fire broke out near the Gare de Lyon in Paris, at rue de Bercy.

According to reports from the Le Figaro website, the fire broke out in clashes between supporters and protesters of the Congolese star Fally Ipupa, who will perform tonight in Bercy.

Vehicles were set on fire and police indicated that "the evacuation of the station is underway" and urged users to avoid the area.

Fally Ipupa is targeted by opponents of President Felix Tshisekedi's regime. In 2017 one of his concerts in Paris, in La Cigale, was canceled due to protests from opponents.
